Resizing to Make the ring bigger

You may have known about jewelers extending a ring's band to make it bigger. In any case, we never recommend this strategy as it will, in general, misshape the state of the ring and weakens the metal and overall shape and structure will be disturbed.

The most widely recognized process to increase the ring size is to add metal to expand the band's circuit. In this process, the jewelers will clip the ring's band (or shank) and add a little piece of metal between the two-slice finishes to extend the ring's size. The closures are bound to this new piece of added metal. At that point, the entire ring is smoothed and cleaned for an ideal and perfect finish.

Resizing to Make the ring smaller

Essentially, to make your ring more modest, a jeweler will cut the shank of the ring and removed a little piece from the band. After this piece of the band is eliminated, the two closures are then fastened back together. The jeweler will then clean the ring for a smooth and splendid completion

Our fingers react to certain temperatures and keep changing its size accordingly. We've to keep in mind that our finger contracts and shrink in cold weather while expands when it is hot outside.
