At DJP Jewelers, we are committed to the quality and reliability of our timepieces and services while providing exceptional customer care. This policy explains the details of our one-year warranty for qualifying watches - including what’s covered, how to file a claim, and our repair process.

Eligibility for One-Year Warranty

Our one-year warranty applies only to:
 • Watches that have been serviced by DJP Jewelers prior to sale, or
 • Watches valued over $5,000 that have not been serviced and require servicing prior to delivery.

Exclusions:
 • Vintage watches are not covered under warranty.
 • Watches with aftermarket or modified parts are not eligible for warranty coverage.

What’s Covered in Our One-Year Watch Warranty

For eligible watches, DJP Jewelers provides a one-year warranty from the date of purchase or from the date of any DJP-serviced repairs. Our warranty covers:
 • Mechanical Defects: Internal movement issues such as timekeeping inaccuracies, malfunctioning chronographs, or other mechanical failures.
 • Water Resistance: Coverage for water-resistance failure, provided the watch was used within the manufacturer’s stated limitations and the crown was properly secured. (Exclusions apply.)

What’s Not Covered by the Watch Warranty

 • Wear and Tear: Normal wear such as scratches, dents, or discoloration.
 • Accidents or Misuse: Damage caused by improper handling, accidents, or negligence (e.g., dropping the watch, or long-term storage in unsuitable environments).
 • Unauthorized Repairs & Modifications: Any alteration from the original condition (e.g., replacement of parts or unauthorized repairs) voids the warranty.
 • Loss or Theft: DJP Jewelers is not responsible for lost or stolen watches.
 • Extreme Conditions: Damage from exposure beyond manufacturer limitations, including temperature extremes, magnetic fields, chemicals, or water intrusion due to an unsecured crown.
 • Custom Stone-Set Watches: Watches customized with aftermarket precious or semi-precious stones are not water-resistant; water damage is not covered.
 • Pre-Existing Conditions: Any issues disclosed at the time of purchase.
 • Loss of Stones: The loss of diamonds or gemstones from their settings is not covered.
