Watches Warranty Policy

At DJP Jewelers, we are committed to the quality and reliability of our timepieces and services, while exceptional customer service. This policy explains the details of our one-year warranty for watches, including what’s covered, how to file a claim, and our repair services.

What’s Covered in Our One-Year Watch Warranty

DJP Jewelers provides a one-year warranty on all watches from the date of purchase or from the date of any DJP-serviced repairs. Our warranty covers:

  • Mechanical Defects: Issues with the internal watch movement, including timekeeping inaccuracies, malfunctioning chronographs, or other mechanical failures.

  • Water Resistance: Coverage for water resistance failure, provided the watch was used within the manufacturer's limitations and the crown was properly secured. Exclusions apply.

What’s Not Covered by the Watch Warranty:

  • Wear and Tear: Scratches, dents, and discoloration from regular use are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered.
  • Accidents or Misuse: Damage resulting from accidents, improper use, or negligence (e.g., dropping the watch, storing it in dirty or dusty environment for a long time) is not covered.
  • Unauthorized Repairs & Modifications: Any modifications of the original condition the watch was sold as (e.g., replacement of parts) or unauthorized repair attempts will void the warranty.
  • Loss or Theft: DJP Jewelers is not responsible for lost or stolen watches.
  • Manufacture Limitations & External Factors: Damage caused by exposure to extreme conditions that exceeds the manufacturer limitations, such as temperatures, magnetic fields, chemicals, or water damage when exceeding the limit or/and when the crown is not fully screwed down is excluded.
  • Custom diamond/gemstone set watches: Watches with case parts that were custom set with precious/semi-precious stones are not sold as water-resistant. Water damage on those watches is not covered by the warranty.
  • Conditions or issues communicated at the time of purchase.
  • Loss of precious or semi-precious stones from settings.

Warranty Repair Processing Time

Once we receive your watch, we’ll inspect it and determine if the issue is covered under warranty. Standard repairs take up to 14 business days, but if parts are required, repairs may take longer. We will notify you of any delays.

Geographic Coverage and Shipping Fees

U.S. Warranty Claims:

DJP Jewelers covers all shipping fees for domestic warranty claims in the United States. After your claim is approved, you will receive a prepaid shipping label via email.

International Warranty Claims:

For international warranty claims, the customer responsible for all shipping fees, as well as any complications due to import taxes or duties. Use a reliable courier and ensure the package is insured. Label the package as 'For Repair Purposes' to avoid unnecessary charges.  Additional Information

  • Non-Transferable: This warranty is non-transferable and only valid for the original buyer.
  • This warranty apply to watches only, and does not apply to any of the other items sold by DJP Jewelers.

Legal Information

Governing Law: This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and any disputes will be handled in Harris County, Texas.

Changes to This Policy: DJP Jewelers reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Please refer to this page for the most current version.

Independent Retailer Disclaimer: DJP Jewelers is an independent watch dealer and is not affiliated with any watch brands unless explicitly stated. Manufacturers are not obligated to honor this warranty.
