1700–1714 Colombia Spanish Colonial 2 Escudos Carlos II type gold cob coin, 21.6k gold, Ancient period. Hand-struck cob coin encapsulated and graded by NGC as UNC Details – Polished. Is irregular in shape as typical for Spanish Colonial cob coinage. Certification number and grading label are present on the holder. In good overall antique condition consistent with type and age.
On the obverse: Jerusalem cross with lions and castles representing the Spanish crown with partial legends and mint markings visible.
On the reverse: Crowned Habsburg shield with denomination and mint markings typical of Spanish Colonial Colombia cob coinage.
