The 1706–07 Mexico 4 Escudos (4e) gold cob coin featuring Philip V is a notable piece from the Spanish colonial era. Minted in Mexico City in the early 18th century, a period marked by the reign of Philip V, the first Bourbon king of Spain.

Obverse: Displays the royal coat of arms of Philip V, surrounded by the legend "PHILIPVS V DEI G" (Philip V, by the grace of God).
